Happy New Year!

Well its been a while, hasn't it?  How have you been?  I've been very busy working with no time for blogging.  Now that the job is finished, I can update you on what has been happening here.

Lots of knitting :o)  I am currently writing up a pattern for an angry bird key fob so watch this space!

Monster en route to his Perform Show.  He had about 4 parts but chose to dress up as an owl.  These gorgeous wings were made for me in return for a knitted jumper for her daughter.  Fair swap!!

2 jobs, 2 kids & a whole lot more....

Good news!  I have a job, well another job on top of the book keeping I already do.  It's a temporary job for a few months but I hope that explains the radio silence here.  What with a day job, an evening job, 2 kids, a house & a husband I have very little time to edit my photos!

In addition, I am out of photo storage & need to resolve that issue ;o)

Meet Patch

He's a rather large (almost life size!) rabbit without a tail.  Poor thing just isn't loved quite enough to warrant mummy making a pom pom...

Oh look a butterfly!

Whilst walking around the nature reserve on holiday, Monster spotted lots of butterflies native to the UK.  He is so used to all the fancier types from visiting Butterfly World so often that he doesn't really know the names of our natives.

So all butterflies were painted ladies.

That's fine except we were following another family and they seemed to know what ALL of them were.  We really should get a spotter's guide...
