Knife by Jude

Some of you may have seen my recent post on Slow Cooker Sunday and seen the gorgeous knife I use.  I thought I'd tell you a bit more about it and what a fab blacksmith Jude Berry is for making it for us.

I met Jude over the garden fence (as you do!) and he invited me out to his forge to talk knives once he knew I was interested.  It was supposed to be a surprise present from the husband but in the end he came along - good job too as he approved the cost ;o)

Jude made the knife using pattern welding techniques to form the unique and beautiful pattern.

Jude now works out of Blackberry Forge and has extended his work to include Jewellery so if you like pattern welded hand made items, he's your man!
